About

Kelly Louise Clark
KellyLouiseClark was established by journalist Kelly Clark. Having decided on leaving school she wanted to be a writer, Kelly approached her local newspaper for the opportunity to spend some time in the newsroom. After several months of learning the ropes unpaid at the age of 17 in 1996, Kelly was offered a full-time job as a trainee reporter at the Evening Echo, Basildon, Essex. She rapidly worked her way through journalism college and up the ladder to become one of the youngest ever news editors of the then five edition daily newspaper.

Since then, Kelly has worked as editor of the Met Police newspaper, The Job; as feature writer of TVTimes magazine; and as deputy editor of five regional newspapers in the Newsquest Essex portfolio.

With 13 years’ experience under her belt, Kelly became self-employed in 2009.
