The only way is PR!

To get into the local newspapers, KLC is the only way….

But, for that Essex look, the only way is Lois & Clarkes Unisex Beauty Salon, in Chelmsford, Essex.

When Lois & Clarkes owner Hannah Smith commissioned KLC to promote her business through PR, we knew the exact angle to take for the press release…getting the Essex look!

The story was picked up by the Essex Enquirer newspaper who sent their features editor to the salon for a makeover.

Showing support for PR client

After much planning and promoting, the Girls Weekend event took place in Colchester, Essex, at the weekend.
KLC organised the launch press and a newspaper promotion to help promote the event.
Our Essex journalist popped along to show her support and enjoyed meeting lots of Essex business people, including chef Mark Baumann.

A local newspaper focuses on Hannah from Lois & Clarkes

As a result of our PR campaign, client Lois & Clarkes Unisex Beauty Salon is to feature in an exciting newspaper article.

KLC arranged for a regional newspaper in Essex to send their features editor and photographer along to the Chelmsford salon this week. And KLC journalist Kelly went along, too.
All will be revealed in the next couple of weeks…

Girls Weekend news spreads

As the countdown begins for the launch of the Girls Weekend event in Colchester, our PR campaign continues.

An article, written by our journalist, has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers as well as on online news channels. The appearance of The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright helped to grab the headlines.

The latest piece of publicity appears in the September/October issue of Highwoods & St Johns community magazine.

Double delight for KLC clients

It was double delight for KLC this week as we opened the Essex Enquirer newspaper.

Two of our articles can be found on the same page within the newspaper, giving great exposure to our clients.

As part of our PR role for the Girls Weekend event, we secured a ticket-giveaway in the newspaper, which also gained our client a front page plug.

Our article for Jeff Turnbull of Excel Photography Training, written by our Essex-based journalist, also features in the newspaper.

Human angle grabs attention

We are delighted with this coverage gained for client Jeff Turnbull.

Keen to promote Excel Photography Training, Jeff turned to KLC for advice in raising awareness of his courses. After our journalist interviewed him, it was decided to write a press release focusing on a photography student’s success story.

The story written by our journalist captured the attention of the editor of the Maldon & Burnham Standard newspaper so much so it was spread across the best part of a page.
