Love is in the air in the KLC office with journalist Kelly due to get married this year.
Having provided copywriting services for wedding magazines in the past, we are excited to once again be writing on the topic, but this time with a personal interest.
We have been commissioned to provide a regular wedding planning column for An Essex Wedding, a glossy magazine by County Wedding Magazines.
The first installment – looking at Kelly and fiance Mark’s search for a wedding venue – is in the March/April issue of the magazine, out now.

Kelly with BMX world champ Mike Mullen
Another week, another opportunity for KLC to work alongside inspirational characters. We act as Media Consultant for a number of schools in and around Essex, including New Rickstones Academy, in Witham. We liaise with teachers, staff and students to pick up the best news stories, write articles and release them to the press. Our journalist recently went along to report on a visit by former BMX world champion, Mike Mullen, as he worked to inspire students to be the best they can be. Our article and photograph appears in the current edition of local newspaper, the Witham Times. Take a look…NRA news in Witham Times
MA students in pancake race
When Tutti Tuscan Grille restaurant, in Freeport, Braintree, Essex, wanted some students to take part in a pancake day race, they contacted KLC for help. Knowing we act as Media Consultant for a number of schools, they were keen to get our students involved. So, a team of students from one of our client schools, Maltings Academy, in Witham, went along and flipped their way to being crowned winners of the fun promotional event. Photographers from both local newspapers, the Essex Chronicle and the Braintree and Witham Times, were there to capture the action. We look forward to seeing coverage of the event in this week’s newspapers.
We’re delighted to see great coverage of a Holocaust survivor’s visit to our client, Helena Romanes School, in their local newspaper.
Our journalist listened along with Year 9 students at the school, in Great Dunmow, Essex, as the 84-year-old survivor told his emotional story.
Our article, released to the press, appears on page three of local newspaper, the Dunmow Broadcast, along with the photo taken and supplied by KLC.

- Holocaust survivor Leslie Kleinman with students
This week, we’re looking forward to seeing the publicity we manage to secure for our story on Holocaust survivor Leslie Kleinman who spoke to students at our client school, The Helena Romanes School, in Great Dunmow, Essex, about his experiences.
Our journalist, who visits the school every fortnight to find, write and release positive news stories to the local press, sat and listened with Year 9 students as Mr Kleinman recalled his horrific childhood.
Have a read of our journalist’s article here and look out for it in the local press this week…
