Shadow minister visits KLC school

As part of our role as Media Consultant, we were called on to cover the visit of a shadow minister to one of our client schools.

Liam Byrne MP

Liam Byrne MP is shadow minister for universities, science and skills and also a former student at Burnt Mill Academy, in Harlow, Essex. When he arranged to have a return visit to his old school, it was our job to ensure the media knew about it.

We welcomed along journalists and photographers from Your Harlow online news channel and the Harlow Star newspaper to report on the visit and to interview the MP.

KLC produces first education trust news brochure

We act as Media Consultant for the Burnt Mill Co-operative Academy Trust, based in Harlow, Essex.

As part of our role, our journalist visits each of the Trust’s five schools – primary and secondary – to gather news articles to write and release to the local, national and educational media.

After producing several news brochures for lead school Burnt Mill Academy, we were asked to produce a similar product for the education Trust.

The A5, eight-page news brochure documents the work going on in all five schools to keep stakeholders and other interested parties abreast of how the new Trust is working and making a difference.
