Guardian commissions KLC education feature

What a great start to the summer – a commission by the Guardian newspaper for KLC to produce an education feature.

We work with lots of schools as well as education publications to spread the word about the many wonderful and unique things going on in education.

The Guardian commissioned our journalist, Kelly Clark, to produce a feature looking at how schools today are collaborating as a way of saving money and resources.

Latest school news magazines published

As our school clients packed up for the summer break, parents and staff were given a round-up of the last few months via our news magazines.

We produce news magazines for our school clients to keep their communities informed of the many wonderful projects, achievements and news items their children are involved with.

Our journalist visits the schools on a regular basis to collect and write articles and then we work with our design and print partners to produce glossy, colourful magazines in whatever size, pagination and print run our clients request.

To sign off the end of the school year, our clients the Sigma Trust – which looks after seven schools in north Essex – and Nightingale Academy, in Edmonton, London, distributed the latest KLC publications to parents, staff and stakeholders.

We will now work through the summer break to produce news magazines for two education trust clients with audiences across 12 schools.

If your school communities could benefit from communication in this way, get in touch on words@kellylouiseclark.co.uk to discuss the easy process where we handle every step and simply ask for your approval before print – it’s that simple!

Glowing national publicity for school client

We are thrilled with this three-page glowing report in a national publication on client school Clacton County High School, arranged by KLC.

We invited the editor of national education magazine Teach Secondary to visit our client school to write an in-depth feature on her views of what she found at the Sigma Trust secondary.

Our journalist escorted the editor and photographer around the school as every aspect of the teaching and learning and future plans was put under the microscope.

Getting school news in print

We love helping our school clients to get their positive news in print and helping to develop and keep great reputations.

Our journalist visits our client schools on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or ad-hoc basis to collect stories on the various events and achievements we know readers would be interested in.

Having worked in the newspaper industry for 21 years, we know how to write the stories which will make headlines and who to speak to on the publications to make it happen.
