Getting your business news in print

Promoting your business through the local press can be a tough job.

We are often approached by business owners who are keen to get their name out there, but who have tried and failed to achieve publicity themselves.

At KLC, we have more than 21 years’ experience of working for and with newspapers and so we know what they want, how they want it and when they want it and can deliver the copy which will make the headlines.

All you have to do is spend a few minutes talking to our journalist, approve the copy and leave the rest to us.

Here are just a few recent examples of where we have helped our business clients to get their names in print…

Good relationships = great publicity for KLC clients

Freelance journalist Essex

Journalist Kelly goes head to head with editor Paul in the kitchen

Our business is all about having good relationships. Our stories regularly make it into print in local publications because we have a good rapport with the journalists and editors who decide what the pages will be filled with. We also know how to put together a good story and what will get their attention and please their readers. When we were invited to do a cooking challenge by the Radisson Blu hotel, at Stansted Airport, we knew it was an opportunity to do a little bit of PR for ourselves. We spent the morning hanging out with the editor of the Essex Chronicle newspaper, having great fun going head to head in a cooking contest, but it was also good to help the hotel’s own PR company to secure a whole page of wonderful coverage for their new menu at the New York Grill Bar restaurant. Take a look at this week’s Chronicle newspaper coverage…

Make no bones, we can cook!

Great to also work alongside Sinead Holland, news editor at the Herts & Essex Observer, and Hilary Collins of Big Wave PR who organised the cook-off.
