National education press coverage for primary school clients

We have close links with editors in education media outlets and are regularly asked to produce features or provide school case studies for their pages.

With more than 20 years’ experience in journalism – from editing daily newspapers to writing for national magazines – we are able to produce professional content quickly to any brief or deadline.

Here are just a couple of the most recent articles in national education magazine Teach Primary which we were asked to provide…

National publicity for multi-academy trust

We work closely with education publication editors who regularly turn to KLC to provide features focusing on our school clients.

So, when we were approached by Teachwire – the online publication which supplies resources, news, products and comment from the world of education – to produce some content around the school closures due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we were happy to oblige.

We turned to our client The Sigma Trust, which looks after 12 primary and secondary schools in north Essex.

Our journalist – Kelly Clark – spoke with heads at the four primaries within the Trust, as well as the CEO, to bring together a 2,000-word feature.

We have also promoted the Trust’s schools in the past by arranging for their teachers to write mock lesson plans to appear in national magazine, Teach Secondary

National publicity for two more KLC school clients this month

This month’s national education magazines feature articles from KLC promoting two more client schools.

We provide PR services to schools each week, sending our journalist into class to find the most newsworthy stories to write and share with the local, national and education media.

This month, a two-page feature written by our journalist to promote a specialist unit within client school Royal Docks Academy, in Newham, London, appears in Teach Secondary magazine.

In this month’s issue of Teach Primary magazine, we also secured a wonderful feature on client school Trinity Primary Academy, in Wood Green, London. We arranged for the magazine’s editor to visit the school and write a report on what he saw, resulting in a glowing three-page feature.

Glowing national publicity for school client

We work closely with editors of local, national and education publications and so when they are looking for schools to feature, it is KLC and our clients they turn to.

We recently welcomed the editor and photographer of national education magazine Teach Secondary to client school Nightingale Academy, in Edmonton, London.

As a result of the visit, organised by KLC, our client received a glowing three-page feature in the magazine which is delivered to every school in the country.

Guardian commissions KLC education feature

What a great start to the summer – a commission by the Guardian newspaper for KLC to produce an education feature.

We work with lots of schools as well as education publications to spread the word about the many wonderful and unique things going on in education.

The Guardian commissioned our journalist, Kelly Clark, to produce a feature looking at how schools today are collaborating as a way of saving money and resources.

KLC school features in Guardian article

While our school clients are predominantly interested in securing local publicity to help attract new students, they are also keen to spread the word about their work to a national audience.

So, when our contacts on the Guardian newspaper were looking to feature schools who locally source their food, we knew we had just the case study.

As a result, KLC client school Maltings Academy, in Essex, features in the online article.
