Supporting a cause close to our hearts – dementia care

A cause close to our hearts here at KLC is dementia support. Kelly Clark’s stepfather is in specialist dementia care as he has Alzheimers at the young age of 65.

So when supermarket Asda was looking for its next batch of local causes to support, we put forward Rawreth Court, in Essex, where Kelly’s stepfather is cared for. The NHS home was selected as one of three options for customers to support by placing their green tokens in a box. The home was picked over and over again and won the £200 on offer to the most popular cause over a period of two months.

Of course, it was then our pleasure to help secure publicity for both Asda and Rawreth Court, without charge.
