Six months ago, I finally delved into the world of Linkedin. I’d never felt the need to use it before as I’d always favoured Twitter and Facebook as a way of sharing my work news.
One of the first people I connected with was the headteacher of a relatively new, highly specialist school in Witham, Essex.
Adam Dean, headteacher at Chatten Free School, was super keen to show me around his school – for pupils with an autism diagnosis – and we set up a meeting straight away.
From our first meeting last summer, it was clear Adam and his team had a lot to shout about.
Having only opened their doors in 2021, the team had had their heads down focusing on providing an Outstanding facility for their unique community.
But, the time had come to look up and look out – and tell the world who they were and what they were about. And, the incredible things they were achieving.
With my years of experience as a journalist, I have been able to uncover such wonderful, heartwarming success stories that I just knew my media contacts would be eager to publish.
As a result, I have secured Chatten Free School publicity in their local press and on online news channels.
With Adam a keen writer, I have also arranged for him to write about his experience and expertise with children with additional needs in the national education press, with more articles lined up for this year.
